Rod charger is used for adding grinding medium to rod mill. The main purpose is to add the medium-steel rod into rod mill. Equipment has the features of small floor space, high automation, good safety, and can move with rod.
structure and working principle：
The ROD CHARGER includes 1 base frame assembly, 2 fixing frame assembly, 3 mobile frame assembly, and 4 storage frame assembly roller shifter system (see Figure 1). The assembly of the fixed frame and the assembly of the storage frame are fixed on the bottom frame by bolts; the movable frame is assembled on the fixed frame and moves in parallel, and the movable frame is assembled to the entrance of the rod mill and locked in position by a pin. The steel bars on the storage rack assembly will roll down on the assembly rails of the movable rack and the fixed rack due to its own weight. The steel rod will be accelerated by the idler roller and reach the speed through the drive of friction, and finally the steel rod will enter the rod mill at a certain speed at a parabolic speed.

maintenance and notes：
1.In order to facilitate , disassemble the controlling platform , control system cabinet , work platform , instrument and so on . Assemble the parts according to the drawing and the instruction on site.
2.Start up the motor after the installation, and check the rotary direction of motor one by one, avoid motor reversal.
3.After all motors are braked, add steel rod on the rod charger.
4.The total weight of adding steel rod should not larger than 12t. Fix the steel rod with steel rope or nylon rope before starting up the rod charge.
5.Use pin (DX00.02.06) to lock the movable frame assembly when switching between two positions.

Maintenance and repair：
1.Lubrication in bearing block of wheel group has been added in factory, and add again after running for 1500 hours.
2.After running or stopping for a period of time, please apply enough lubricant on the roller to lubricate and prevent rust. Use maintenance-free bearings on roller assemblies.
