Grate cooler is also called quench cooling machine, is an important host equipment in the clinker burning system of cement plant, its main function is to cool and transport cement clinker, can be quenched from 1300-1400℃ to below 100℃ in a few minutes; At the same time, it provides hot air for rotary kiln and decomposing furnace.
Grate cooler is composed of upper shell, lower shell, grate bed, grate transmission device, grate supporting device, clinker crusher, leakage zipper, automatic lubrication device and cooling air unit
Heat recovery zone: the cooling air from this zone will be fed into the kiln and preheater
Waste heat recovery zone (WHR zone) : the cooling wind from this zone is used to generate electricity
Subsequent cooling zone: the cooling wind coming out of this zone is exhaust gas
